Patent Issued for Smart Bowling Device

Body Biolytics has received patent approval notice from the US Patent Office for a SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING BOWLING SHOT PERFORMANCE. The system is based on bowling shot metrics calculated from the analysis of bowling shot sensor data. The system comprises a motion sensing device integrated with a glove, wrist band, or wearable sleeve, a microcontroller platform, wireless data communications coupled to methods for data capture from the wearable device, and a mobile App for displaying a bowler’s current and historical performance data. The performance metrics include ball revolutions rate at release, ball speed, shot force, backswing duration, front swing duration, and shot tempo. The system allows a bowler to view their metrics and adjust their swing and shot delivery to score higher.
